I started off by painting this gorgeous venue. Willowdale Estate is in Topsfield, Massachusetts

I also painted this bottle of Veuve for the celebration!

I added the venue painting to the Accommodations card which features hand-done calligraphy that has been digitized.

Watercolor wedding crest and monogram

I painted a watercolor crest with florals and fruit that were on the reception table. We also wrapped the suite in a red velvet ribbon with a gold peony wax seal.

floral watercolor envelope liner

The envelope liner also featured the same motifs in a fun pattern.

watercolor floral vellum overlay

The entire suite was wrapped with a vellum overlay featuring a watercolor border

Both envelopes were adorned with gold calligraphy. We did vintage postage for the main envelope, and a floral stamp for the reply envelope.

Finally, I created these place cards that were truly a labor of love! Each card was gilded on the edges with gold. I painted a watercolor crest that nested a white peony wax seal also gilded with gold. Each card also got some super soft, white silk tassels, and each guest’s name was written in gold calligraphy.
